Professional Activities:
Dr. Saksena has worked on projects funded by the United States
Institute of Peace and the Rockefeller Foundation on issues
related to South Asian security, focusing on nuclear, dual-use
and conventional weapons/technology and has published articles
in this field. Her publications include an article in Asian
Survey and a book chapter in Engaging India: US Strategic
Relations with the World's Largest Democracy(Routledge,
1999). Her current research is on the issue of unintended
consequences in trade and security regimes.
